The real action at Macworld was at XtremeMac s press conference. When we got there at 4pm, the room was packed (bear in mind that it was a room 8 feet by 8 feet and contained about 20 seats). After scouring the aisles, we managed to find a seat and sit down. It was only about 15 minutes long, but in that time they announced a new partnership with the NBA, showed some of their new NBA-inspired iPod cases, introduced their new HomeShow and RoadShow cable kits, and most notably, announced MicroMemo, a high-fidelity voice recorder for the iPod which is scheduled to begin shipping in late April.
