Fortunately the flood of new product announcements has slowed a bit, and right now the toughest part of CES is merely finding the time to digest everything we’ve seen (well, that and the fact that our hotel is a good 25 minutes away from the Las Vegas Convention Center). As expected, there is simply too much to see, so it’s going to take a few days to write about what we’ve found, but one of the highlights from Day 3 was BenQ, which (though it embarrasses us to write something so earnest), is clearly a rising star in the world of consumer electronics:
BenQ’s P30 smartphone, which runs on the Symbian operating system and has a 65,000 color touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a built-in digital camera.
An admittedly very blurry photo of their DRD510 Wireless Home Media Center which has a DVD burner built-in.
And perhaps the BenQ product we’re most excited about (at least on a personal level), their new 23″ widescreen LCD monitor, the FP231W, which comes with a detachable web cam.
