Anne Hathaway is taking her fights for The Dark Knight Rises just a little too seriously. John Barrowman discusses a Doctor Who return. What's going on with Zombieland 2? Plus awesome new posters for Harry Potter, Conan, and Super 8!

The Dark Knight Rises
This news is fairly innocuous, but it does come from Britain's most notorious tabloid, The Sun, so keep the grains of salt at the ready. Anyway, Anne Hathaway was reportedly filming a fight scene for the movie - it's unclear whether this was as Selina Kyle or in costume as Catwoman - and things got a little out of hand:
"Anne got a bit carried away during a fight scene and mistakenly shoved the butt of the gun right into the actor's eye socket. He came away with a massive black eye. Anne was mortified. It was all in good humor but the poor guy took quite a pummeling."
Super 8

Transformers: Dark of the Moon
According to one cryptic tweet, it appears that the movie is in fact finished and ready to be released. [TFLAMB]
Asteroids
Independence Day and 2012 director Roland Emmerich has reportedly been offered this adaptation of the old 1979 video game. The script is written by Escape from Witch Mountain's Matt Lopez, and here's the rumored concept:
It's an ersatz sequel to world-ending Emmerich films like Independence Day and 2012, but one in which the aliens have won. The remnants of human civilization are now living on far-flung colonies within an asteroid belt alongside aliens. The survivors were led to believe that this alien civilization was benevolent, rescuing them from doom, but ultimately discover that the aliens have engineered Earth's destruction, and soon will do the same for the rest of humankind.

Zombieland 2
Director Ruben Fleischer offered a fairly noncommital update, saying the sequel might be the project he tackles after his next movie, Gangster Squad:
"I hope so. I know that [original stars Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslin] and I all really want to do it so hopefully we'll be able to do it, maybe after 'Gangster.'"
Stoker
Matthew Goode, who you might remember from Watchmen if you try really, really hard, is reportedly in talks to play a vampire in Oldboy director Park Chan-Wook's latest. The role of a mysterious, possibly vampire uncle who appears in the lives of the mother/daughter pairing of Nicole Kidman and Mia Waskiowska was originally attached to Colin Firth, but after he reportedly passed on the role Goode was able to beat out other contenders such as James Franco, Michael Fassbender and Joel Edgerton for the role. Oh, and the script is by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller, just to make this whole thing even more delightfully random. [/Film]

Doctor Who
John Barrowman reveals that Steven Moffat has discussed a possible return for Captain Jack with Russell T. Davies, who is still in charge of Torchwood:
"I've always said that if I'm asked to go back to 'Doctor Who,' I'll go at the drop of a hat. That's where Captain Jack got his beginnings. And it's already been discussed. It's in the cards, but who knows whether it will happen? I like Matt Smith. He brings his own quirkiness to it... When a new Doctor starts, everybody goes along for the journey because they love the show. But then you attach yourself to that Doctor. There's a whole new generation who are now attached to Matt, and rightly so.... but David Tennant is my Doctor."
Upon hearing that last remark, Christopher Eccleston shed a single tear, then gazed wistfully at his copy of "The Empty Child." [Zap2It]
Sorry to get people's hopes up, but it looks like Terry Pratchett really was denying any involvement with Doctor Who, as opposed to playfully pretending to deny it. So yeah, I think we can officially remove this one from the rumor pile. Still a good idea though... [Doctor Who Spoilers]
