Cliche as it may be, the Mario universe and mecha are my two favorite Japanese contributions to nerd culture. Furthermore, I always liked Luigi more than Mario. And seeing this Luigi mecha makes me wish it was in a game.
Couldn’t there have been a Mecha Luigi appearance in Super Mario Sunshine when Mecha Bowser needed to be destroyed? He could have awesome powers. Obviously, it would shoot flames from his hands. Its moustache would be some sort of ballistic weapon. And when you gazed into its eyes, you would feel the decades of pain inflicted by Mario envy. Yeah, it would be awesome.
