We were excited when we heard that George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road would feature the biggest, craziest car stunts ever. But filming was delayed over the summer, and now it's been put off another year. Is this film doomed?

Will we ever see Miller's Mad Max 4? The latest reports about the post-apocalyptic film seem to indicate big trouble on the Australian set. And now many fans are speculating that this may be the end of Mad Max, even with all the positive hype and buzz its been collecting by casting actors like Tom Hardy (Inception) and Charlize Theron as the main characters.

The Australian is reporting that:

"Miller's film has been delayed for a second time and will not begin filming until 2012. The delay has left many major film crew members without work amid fears the high Australian dollar could ultimately kill the film as its budget grows."

Cast and crew members were told that pre-production wouldn't resume until August or November of 2011, with filming starting in February 2012. Will the same actors and production crew even be available by then?
