If you had a power that no one else had, when would you choose to unleash it? That seems to be one of the questions at the center of Sleight. The main character can do something amazing, but when to do it is the real problem.
Directed by JD Dillard, Sleight stars Jacob Lattimore (last seen in Collateral Beauty—but don’t hold that against him, he’s good in it) as a young man with a gift. A gift he pretends is magic, but is likely something more. When an attempt to better his family situation goes wrong, he might have to reveal his power to some very bad people.
The film opens on April 7 and though a tease came out a few weeks ago, now there’s a full trailer.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about this one and I can’t wait to see it. What did you think?
