Medicom's range of 'MAFEX' toys based on the Dark Knight trilogy are well known for their hyper-articulation - but the latest figure in the series looks like the hyper-articulation is doing her no favours.
Anne Hathaway's Catwoman figure was revealed today as part of DC's latest previews catalogues for comic stores, and whilst the figure itself is wonderfully detailed and offers a pretty good likeness of Hathaway in 6" form, there's something... off about her pose:
Oh dear. I'm not entirely sure how someone is meant to hold a pose like that for more than a few second. My back's cramping up just looking at her! Weirdly loose spine aside, Catwoman comes with a variety of accessories and interchangeable hands so you can emulate some of her more feline poses from the film. Just try not to make her look like she needs surgery when you pose her, okay?
Medicom's MAFEX Catwoman will set you back $50 when she releases in May of next year. Still, at least it's a better design than Tetusya Nomura's.
