Meraki Networks Revives Free Citywide Wi-Fi in San Francisco

Meraki Networks is expanding its SF network of 500 Wi-Fi repeaters—which covered two sq. miles and 40,000 people—to between 10 and 15 thousand to eventually cover the whole city. TC has details on why it might work this time around when it didn’t for Google/Earthlink. [TechCrunch]
