The Drawing Lamp, by designer Thomas Feichtner, is a barebones light source that can be leaned closer to your desk for a more focused glow. Feichtner describes the Drawing Lamp, which he designed for himself, as “reduced to the basics.”
Designers like Feichtner often need focused lighting when sketching by hand, and the svelte Drawing Lamp provides this when needed with only its cord, thin steel, tube and single LED. To illuminate the rest of the desktop, the light can be raised back to its upright position.
