Mint Mobile’s 5G Home MINTernet bundle has been $45 a month for a while, covering unlimited home internet plus a premium unlimited phone line. What just changed is how long you have to commit to get that rate. The usual requirement to get that monthly price usually requires a 12-month phone plan, which means $540 due at signup. However, until the end of September, a promotion on Mint’s phone plans drops that requirement to three months, so the $45 monthly rate costs just $135 upfront.

Head over to Mint Mobile to get 5G Home MINTernet plus an unlimited phone plan for $45 a month, with just $135 due at signup on a 3-month term rather than $540 for a year.

Affordable home internet that keeps you online for less

MINTernet will cost $40 monthly, and adding an unlimited phone line brings the total to $45. Most people already pay more than that for basic cable internet service, and that’s before renting equipment or the initial low rate expires. Cable services are often subject to unannounced yearly rate hikes, so many customers who initially agree to pay $60 per month may see their bill grow to over $95 by the end of that first year. MINTernet charges the same rate each month for the duration of your contracted term.

Mint is also offering any phone plan for $15 per month, and that lower price only requires a 3-month term. A 6-month option is also available at the same low rate of $45 if you prefer a slightly longer term, and either way, you don’t have to sign up for the standard 12-month contract.

With MINTernet, you’re using the largest 5G network in the country, provided by T-Mobile. There’s no data cap and no speed throttling, so all the devices connected in your home can share the same internet connection without anybody worrying about being cut off mid-stream or watching a meter.

The setup process is self-service and takes a few minutes to complete instead of several hours. Your new 5G Gateway ships directly to you at no additional cost, and unlike other service providers who rent you their equipment at a monthly rate, there are no equipment rental charges here. No technician needs to come to your location, and you won’t have to wait around for a scheduled appointment window. Simply unplug your old modem and router, plug in the 5G Gateway, connect your computer, and start surfing.

Mint also offers a 14-day money-back guarantee if the speeds don’t meet your household needs. That provides some peace of mind if you’re worried about performance. The promotional discount of $15 per month for the phone plan is valid until September 30th, which is also the deadline to lock in the $45 per month bundle on a 3-month term instead of committing to a full 12-month contract.
