Horror movie staple Poltergeist is getting a remake, whether you like it or not. But before you chain yourself to the studio doors of MGM chanting “You moved the headstones but not the bodies!” take some solace in this little bit of news. Director Gil Kenan, who was behind the clever films Monster House and City Of Ember, has been hired to lens the remake. Plus, the film is being produced by Sam Raimi. Which, if Poltergeist is going to be remade, we’re glad Kenan and Raimi are behind it.
