And to add to the overload of posts about Samsung today, MSMobiles has a roundup with details of the South Korean manufacturer’s three new Palm-powered smartphones, the SGH-i500, the SPH-i500, and the one everyone has been talking about lately, the SGH-i505. The SGH-i500, which is said to be only for the European market, will be a tri-band GSM/GPRS phone and have a built-in one megapixel digital camera and 32MB of RAM. The SPH-i500 is already out here, and is like the poor American cousin of the SGH-i500: it has only 16MB of RAM, runs an older version of the Palm operating system, and lacks a digital camera. The SGH-i505, which just recently surfaced, has a rotating screen, 32MB of RAM, and a VGA quality digital camera.
