The folks over at Engadget got their hands on a Motorola Droid X and have shared some gorgeous pictures along with specs that confirm what we've heard about the device so far—right down to the name.


Some of the listed specs include:

  • 4.4-inch, FWVGA 854 x 480-resolution screen
  • Android 2.1 with "some new sort of Motoblur"
  • 8-megapixel camera
  • Ability to record 720p video
  • Multitouch keyboard
  • 1GHz ARMv7 processor
  • 8GB of storage space

Is huge and fast. You will enjoy it all the 4 hours that last the battery when idle.

Speed is just part of the equation, is a phone, the battery should last till you get back home, at least, with some moderate use.

If something has teached me my N900, is that speed have a big cost at battery life. Faster/bigger smartphones could be even worse than that, and probably android/ios4 would not be so open to apps to underclock it as maemo.
