Gene Munster (no relation) is tossing out farfetched predictions about the future of Apple’s iPod and portable media. Munster is a Piper Jaffray analyst who sees a 1-terabyte iPod within 5 years. This iPod wouldn t be for just music—the iPod would become a universal digital media hub. This terabyte iPod would become an all-in-one media center that could do anything media-related and hold more than enough data. A $500 terabyte iPod may even be feasible within five years and if there was anyone that would/could make a universal media device, it would be Apple. Steve Jobs = Big Brother? Only time will tell.
