Netflix has long underused the extra size and space of tablets on their tablet apps, choosing instead to use a lot of fugly gray, small icons and lists to navigate through the app. No more! They’ve just updated their Android tablet app to something puurrrrty.
The updated Netflix app for Android tablets (yes it’s on the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet too) has made navigation a lot more intuitive and better, the interface shows twice as many movies and TV shows as before. Plus, it’s miles better than the lame sauce gray vomit that Netflix used to have. Movie icons are bigger, continue watching option is clearer, etc.
Interestingly, the new update is only currently available for Android users. Netflix says that the new experience “will be ready for the iPad in the coming weeks”. [Netflix]
