Some details over at DAPreview of the new HDD060 MP3 player from Philips which has the same 1-inch, 1.5GB hard drive found in Rio’s Nitrus and Nomad’s MuVo2 players. Like so many other MP3 players, the HDD060 seems to take its design cues from the iPod, with its white plastic and chrome casing. Even the text font on its LCD display looks similar. Most annoyingly, the HDD060 uses USB 1.1 for transferring music from a PC, rather than USB 2.0 (which is considerably faster), making this not worth the purchase no matter how small or light or inexpensive it might be.
