If you like your family and want them to come out looking as sharp as possible in you next set of holiday snapshots, Fuji has some help: their new FinePix S6000fd comes with Face Detection, where the camera scans the image, detects the faces and focuses in on them instead of some inanimate object in the background. It can also do clever stuff like pick the faces out of a photo and create a head-and-shoulders slideshow.
It also optimizes the exposure for accurate skin tones, but Fuji doesn’t clarify what happens if you visit a nudist beach. I suspect that the camera might explode.
