New high definition DVD player from V Inc.

They’re claiming it’s the first of its kind (it’s not), but V Inc. has just announced a new high-definition DVD player that supports playback of Windows Media Video 9. Using Windows Media 9 means that over six hours of DVD quality video can be squeezed onto one disc, or that you can squeeze a high-definition movie onto a regular DVD (with no need to upgrade to one of those new high-density blue laser DVD formats that are waiting in the wings). The Bravo R3, as the player is called, will also play MPEG2 and MPEG4 video files, as well, MP3 and Windows Media Audio files.
