Five new handsets from Samsung have been announced at CeBIT.
The SGH-P730 [near right], or ‘Jordan,’ has a 1 megapixel camera, digital zoom, good-quality color screens, plus a twist-and-flip opening design for impressing shallow girls at bars, and entertaining yourself as you walk home alone. An easily-accessible MMC slot is nice, too.
The SPH-V4400, or ‘Joe,’ is a CDMA (read: Sprint) phone with a similar design as Jordan, but with a 2 megapixel camera and embedded MP3 player.
SCH-V500, or ‘Danny,’ has the same loose hips flip up screen, with a 1.3 megapixel camera and flash, as well as a 4-color OLED display.
SGH-Z105, or ‘Donnie,’ has a comparatively lackluster VGA-quality camera, but a decent 262k color screen, as well as a more conservative clamshell design. Donnie is more of a workhorse model, but will make a career for himself playing bit parts in movies.
Lastly, the SGH-E800 [far right], or ‘John,’ puts style ahead of talent, with a slick slide-out keypad but only basic features, such as a VGA cameraphone and polyphonic ringtones.
