The Trask Industries website has gone live, and it's released a bevy of great X-Men: Days of Future Past peeks to go along with it! Get the best look at the Bolivar Trask's Sentinels yet, check out Trask himself and watch a fantastic "Trask Industries publicity video," too.
First, Trask, circa 1973:
Man, Peter Dinklage can even make that mustache look good. Next, more Sentinel pics:
As you can see from the historical patina, the Sentinels have been around awhile; the site says they're first deployed in 1973 — which I'm pretty sure in when Days of Future Past is (partially) set — and become standard issue around the world and as security details by the '80s.
The site has a ton of specs on the Sentinels here, including their Mutant Detection Devices and the Inhibition Collars they trap mutants with; a history of mutations (with graphs!) and a timeline of the past 50 years of genetic discoveries here; and finally, an awesome Trask Industries "promotional video":
Nothing like a giant robot with glowing orange eyes watching your family playing on the beach to make you feel safe, right? I hate to say it, but this silly viral marketing has me looking forward to X-Men: Days of Future Past more than I ever looked forward to The Wolverine.
