If you’ve managed to resist the lure of Nintendo’s highly-collectible Amiibo figurines so far, this new Mega Yarn Yoshi is really going to test, and probably break, your resolve.
Available starting November 15 for $40, Mega Yarn Yoshi will be the largest Amiibo figure to date, and will unlock a ‘Double Yoshi’ feature in Yoshi’s Woolly World on the Wii U when tapped to the GamePad controller. However, that feature isn’t exclusive to the Mega version of the Yarn Yoshi Amiibo. The smaller Yarn Yoshi will unlock it too, as well as a new computer-controller fighter for Super Smash Bros., and a new outfit option for Mario Kart 8. [Business Wire via Engadget]
