This probably won’t come as much of a surprise to anyone, but The Register is reporting that the first week of sales have been rough for the N-Gage, Nokia’s gamephone, at least in the UK. A poll of 6000 game stores in Britain found that only 500 were sold, which is going to make it tough for Nokia to hit that target of “several million” in sales that they’re aiming for. Meanwhile Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance managed to sell thirty times as more units over that same period.
