And while we’re on the subject of Symbian, Reuters has confirmed that a shares redistribution and rights issue will rearrange the corporate control of Symbian, keeping Nokia’s stake in the company under the controlling 50 percent. So yeah, that’s boring, but probably good — it means that Symbian won’t become a Nokia-only company, and the other participants, like founder Psion, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Samsung, and Matsushita will get their fair share of attention. It also means Psion is about 92 million dollars richer, money they plan to use to expand their staff.
