Nooka Watch Interview

By

Reading time 1 minute

The Nooka watch is designed from the idea that normal analog and digital watch faces aren’t intuitive, and that a watch that brings the focus on the minutes, then seconds, then hours is a more natural to display that information. While I admit it makes for an interesting interface, I’m of the mind it’s probably even less easy to make out all the information at once, since you have to focus on two or three different places to get the information you want. But hey, it’s fancy, and I support fancy. WristFashion has an interview with the designer where he chronicles the making of the original watch by Seiko, who bungled the entire operation, basically, and his plans now to produce more of the watches in the future.
