Apparently it’s not just his directorial skills that Edward James Olmos will be lending to The Plan; he’s bringing his impressive voiceover magic to the trailer as well. If nothing else, he gives the old BSG opening text an intensity that it never used to have. Meanwhile, I have to admit being less interested in Caprica now that we know the backstory of BSG’s cylons, for some reason. Now it just feels like a drama that’s trading on Galactica’s goodwill. Here’s hoping that the pilot will put that feeling to rest pretty quickly.
