We're all still pretty baffled about the existence of Tron 3, but it sounds like they're getting the band back together. Olivia Wilde, Garrett Hedlund will join director Joseph Kosinski yet again to make another Tron movie.
THR is reporting that the acting duo will both reprise their roles for the third film. If you remember where the last movie ended, Quorra (a computer program) joined Sam Flynn (Hedlund) in the real world. So we can only hope the third movie is just a collection of montages of Sam teaching Quorra human things. Imagine:
Sam cruises down a remote highway on his motorcycle, Quorra clinging to his back, eyes wide. He pulls his hog over to gas station, flips down the kickstand and heads inside to purchase a surprise treat.
He returns with a gas station drumstick, unwraps the cold vanilla treat, and hands it to Quorra, saying, "This is an ice cream cone."
Quorra smashes the ice cream into her face and screams, "I'm scared. It's too big here! It's too much! Take me back home, PLEASE."
Sam laughs and exclaims, "I love you, Quorra!"
End scene.
