The first teaser for Pixar’s Incredibles 2 was just that. A tease. There was little to no indication of what, exactly, the highly anticipated sequel would be about. Well, during the Winter Olympics Wednesday, we finally got a good look at the movie. And it looks wonderful.
Like we’d heard from previous reports, this time around Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) is the star leaving her husband Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) with the kids. Seems the super heroic power of parenting is at the forefront this time around. Check it out.
As good as the action in this teaser is, the parenting stuff is my personal favorite. I’d totally be down if Incredibles 2 was just two hours of superhero parenting. Beyond that though, the biggest stand out here might be just how good this movie looks visually. The first movie came out in 2004 and Pixar has improved a ton since then. If the story is half as good as the visuals, we’re in for a something special this June.
