Valerian
Clive Owens has been cast in Luc Besson’s upcoming sci-fi film as Commander Arun Filitt. Here’s a brief description of the film:
In the story, Valerian (DeHaan) and Laureline (Delevingne) are exploring Syrte, capital planet of a system of 1,000 worlds. Their mission is to discover whether the Syrtians could present a danger to Earth. What they find is a decaying empire led by decadent aristocrats, a population ripe for revolution, and a mysterious caste of masked wise men who discreetly pull the strings from hidden fortresses. Swept up by the winds of history, the agents of Earth will have to choose a side.
Captain America: Civil War
Heroic Hollywood are reporting that Tom Holland’s scenes being filmed in Germany are an purported dustup between Spider-Man and Captain America—adding to the rumors that the webslinger will side with Iron Man in the conflict.
Batman v Superman
Warner Bros CEO Kevin Tsujihara has confirmed recent rumors that the movie was screened internally at the studio—also confirming that the movie was pushed out of 2015 to rework it:
It was a tough decision at the time because it was going to create a hole in 2015. But it was absolutely the right decision for the franchise, for DC and the movie. Having seen the movie multiple times, and again last night, I’m extremely confident it was the right decision to make the movie better. And it’s so important for the studio to get the foundation right on DC.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in a video interview, Lupita Nyong’o discusses being part of the film—as a well as hinting that her character, Maz Kanata, might not be seen until the film actually hits cinemas:
To be able to have that experience and the continuation of Han Solo, and Luke, and Leia’s journey is really a blessing, to be able to play a small part in that.
Heroes Reborn
Greg Grunberg discusses Matt’s telepathic powers in the show:
Ratings-wise, Matt is the most powerful character on the show. I’m totally joking. He’s very powerful. I know I control my powers like nothing. Again, I’ve only shot one scene of four episodes we’re doing. I know that it’s going to get to a very powerful situation. Five years have gone by. The last time we saw Matt, he was just mastering the evil side of what his dad dipped his toes into. I hope I go to a really dark place. That would be interesting to me. There were elements of that before, but it’s always been for a good reason. It’s a justification that we can relate to, like protecting your family and the ones you love. When you are offered an opportunity, you are going to take care of your own. That’s what Matt does.

Tim Kring says that the show will explore some of the “missing time” gaps that appeared in the original Heroes, and Horn-Rimmed Glasses will be a crucial part of exploring that:
Yes. This is partly what HRG’s storyline is – Why he is a central figure in this that his story unpacks and uncovers a lot of the old mythology of the show and some of the missing pieces that are between that show and this. His character is designed as a thriller/bloodhound kind of character that has to figure this stuff out.

Doctor Who
Ingrid Oliver (Osgood) discusses returning to the series:
On the second day of filming, I had quite a dramatic speech, quite a moving speech, and as an actor you’re used to just saying a speech like that to the other person, and there’s probably soaring music in the background and it’s all very gentle; and I realised very quickly that we won’t be able to do that because we’re also looking for Zygons! It was very odd; it’s an adjustment, but that’s the world of Doctor Who, and Peter was saying that you don’t just stand there and deliver dialogue, you’re always doing something, whether it’s running from a blowing-up building or looking for monsters. It’s good fun though, it’s really good fun.
American Horror Story: Hotel
Mare Winningham will return to the series. Winningham will play a Hotel laundress “who works closely with Evan Peters’ character, Mr. March”. [Entertainment Weekly]
Here’s a first look at Lady Gaga on set for the show:
Gotham
Ben McKenzie says the show will be ditching some of its procedural elements, including the show’s early penchant for dealing with a villain in a single episode:
I think we made a mistake relatively early on in trying to introduce a villain and take care of that villain in one episode: catch them, send them to Arkham, do whatever. That was just a mistake. We should’ve never done it.
Montauk/Stranger Things
The Winona Ryder-led Netflix supernatural period drama series has changed its title to Stranger Things. [Deadline]
Fear The Walking Dead
Ruben Blades on his character, Daniel:
I’m playing Daniel Salazar, a person who immigrated to the U.S. from Central America, and is a barber, and has a past that is exposed because of what happens in the context of this, I don’t know what to call it, this ‘situation’. Salazar has a lot of previous knowledge of chaos and mayhem and destruction collapse of order. The others don’t have that because they have been pretty much a product of the United States under a certain level of order, and Salazar comes from a situation where he has seen it happen under different circumstances — political, but nevertheless bloody and violent. So he’s a product of that, and he moves in a different way, and he understands these things clearer, faster than the others. So he has a certain advantage in that, but not that much.
