Panasonic is looking to outstrip Sanyo's yet-to-be-released HD2 camcorder of its "world's smallest" title. Like the HD2, Pannie's new camcorder, the SDR-S10, records onto SD/SDHC memory cards, but takes it up a notch by being water and shock resistant. The 2.7-inch screen should be big enough for everyday shooting and the 10x optical zoom is about average for most camcorders. It'll be out in May, although Panasonic is being hush on pricing.
