Attention, Person of Interest fans: you may finally exhale. The long-anticipated fifth season of the show will begin May 3, after a year off the air. But while you’re clearing your Tuesday nights, better make room on Mondays, too. After the premiere, the show will move to twice-weekly airings, starting May 9.

As TV Line reports:

The J.J. Abrams drama will launch Season 5 on Tuesday, May 3, with Episode 2 airing the following Monday, May 9 (and then Episode 3 on Tuesday, May 10, and so on). The show’s season finale is slated to fall on Tuesday, June 21.

Executive producer Abrams has hinted rather strongly that season five, which consists of 13 episodes, will be the series’ last, though he did leave an out in case of “miraculous” ratings. At least one POI cast member has already scored another gig: Sarah Shahi, who’ll play the whip-smart detective on CBS’ forthcoming Nancy Drew update, Drew.

[Update: it is now confirmed that this will be POI’s final season.]
