Facebook is adding two new features to be more like Youtube. Starting this week, the social network will start displaying video view counts, so you can instantly tell how popular a certain clip is. You will also be presented with a list of related videos, just like YouTube, once you finish watching something.

Facebook announced that it now serves up more than 1 billion videos a day, with 65% of those being watched on mobile devices. To put that in context: YouTube averaged 4 billion views a day back in 2012, according to TechCrunch. Video views on the Facebook also grew by more than 50% between May and July this year, thanks in no small part to the Ice Bucket Challenge. [The Next Web]
