Co-writer/co-director/costar Jemaine Clement has confirmed that a sequel to the vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows is in the planning stages. The sequel would focus on the polite werewolf (not swearwolf) Anton, played by Rhys Darby. In a separate interview with the AV Club, Clement mentioned also pitching a TV series in which the movie’s easily-distracted cops work for an X-Files-like organization. But New Zealand television producers, unlike vampires, have been slow to bite.
