The latest viral ad for Prometheus has actress Noomi Rapace begging for help from Weyland Industries. But if you look closely, you can see that the entire video phone call is being monitored by none other than the Yutani Company.
Alien super-fans know that eventually Weyland and Yutani will become Weyland-Yutani, whose motto is “Building Better Worlds!” But this brief glimpse at Rapace’s pitch reveals how Yutani gets its start. Did Yutani intercept this from Weyland Industries? Or were they hired out to analyze the footage? We don’t know — the only thing we know for sure is that Peter Weyland (played by Guy Pearce) is aboard Prometheus. And I’m pretty sure we spotted him here.
