FWD highlights an early iPhone 4 concept design created by Apple's designer Shin Nishibori. It unequivocally confirms what I've repeatedly said since the introduction of the iPhone 4: it feels like an old school Sony product. Just like the iPhone 5 design or my custom wooden iPhone 4, which feels like a 70s Betamax VCR. [FWD]
So, Sony had this design, Apple saw it and decided to take it?
OR Apple had this design, naming it Sony-style because the idea was to copy similar design features of Sony products?
This has nothing to actually do with Sony other than it just looks like a Sony product and Apple were naming it Sony-style? It wasn't helped by a Sony designer giving it the name?
I guess I have to agree, the iPhone 4 does look a bit like a Sony product, like the one I have pictured. I never really noticed that. But...what is the iPhone 4 concept doing in 2006 before the iPhone was even around?! Guess that proves my theory that they make designs for things years ahead of time...
