Pull This Bathroom Mirror Out of the Wall Instead of Leaning Over the Sink

Perfectly solving a problem that most of probably didn't realize we had, a Polish company has created the Miior—a full-sized bathroom mirror that extends from the wall so you don't have to lean over the sink to get a closer look.

Until now the solution was to simply have a smaller mirror on hand you could use for close-up work, but that takes up counter and cabinet space. So the Miior hangs on your wall like any other bathroom mirror, but uses an articulated armature to extend outwards, saving you from awkwardly having to lean in while you're handling a pair of tweezers. They've also got built-in diffused LED lighting, and are currently available in three different styles.

I don't like it. Large mirrors are heavy...add time, steam, and moving it back and forth a few thousand times (at least one back-and-forth per day per person) and I see failure of either the mount (in the wall or on the mirror) or the internal mechanics keeping it up.

Plus, you loose the space behind the mirror to hold your toiletries.
