We review a lot of wireless headphones here at Gizmodo. Ones with the best active noise cancellation; luxury pairs; cans that provide the best value. Nothing could prepare us for Razer’s Kraken Kitty V2 BT, a pair of wireless gaming headphones with ears from Sanrio’s popular Cinnamoroll character.
The $140 gaming headphones are Razer and Sanrio’s latest collaboration. Razer already sold Hello Kitty and Kuromi versions of the Kraken Kitty V2, and now there’s a model with adorable puppy ears. (Fun fact: I just learned today that Kuromi is a rabbit and not a cat. Oops.)
The wireless headphones aren’t a one-off—they’re part of an entire Cinnamoroll-themed collection that includes an Iskur V2 X Newgen gaming chair ($450), a Kraken V4 X wired gaming headset ($110), an Ornata V3 Tenkeyless mechanical keyboard ($120), and a Cobra & Gigantus V2 M Bundle ($100) that includes a wired gaming mouse (with RGB, of course) and mat.

I’m not saying the 40mm drivers, noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.2, and “plush leatherette” earpads in the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 BT aren’t any good, but if I’m being honest, you’re probably not getting these cans or any of the gear in this collection to boost your gaming performance. You’re buying because you’re either a big fan of Cinnamoroll or you want to kawaii up your setup.
Somewhere, there’s a Cinnamoroll diehard for whom Christmas just came early. More realistically, these chairs will probably make their debuts on a Twitch channel. Somebody’s gotta flex on all the wannabe streamers and their generic Secretlab chairs, right?
