Keeping the same oak paneling that makes Moog synthesizers so distinctive, the Minimoog Voyager XL celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Minimoog, which bands such as Kraftwerk and Yes pounded their fingers across so electronically.

Bringing it into 2010, the Voyager XL has a 61-note velocity sensitive keyboard, with touch surface controllers, a ribbon controller and MIDI control functionality, to mention some of its highlights. Moog will charge $5,000 when it goes on sale later this year—a fair price to pay for Kraftwerk tribute bands, I’d say. [Moog via Retro Thing via Engadget]
