Day 22 of the 2014 Lego advent calendars gives us another gift, a Christmas tree and a wonderful R2-D2. See images and a review of the 22nd day of mini builds after the jump!
Friends Advent Calendar (41040)
Today’s build is a nice little gift box with a hair bow inside. Interesting build technique for this and sort of out of the Lego norm as the lid of the box doesn’t actually have any real clutch power as it is simply an upside down 2×2. Good elements here though, those corner tiles are a great thing to have.
City Advent Calendar (60063)
Finally a Christmas tree! This build it pretty similar to last year, with more variation in the round tile elements and a nice jewel tree topper.
Star Wars Advent Calendar (75056)
We get a Christmas tree on the Star Wars side as well, sort of. This tree themed R2-D2 is a perfect fit with the 2012 snowman R2-D2. By far it is my favorite thing so far in the calendars.
