When it comes to off-Broadway musical adaptations of classic Sci-Fi franchises, one could do much worse than Robocop (itself a remake of a biblical allegory). Thank goodness, we’ve never had endure horrendous musical versions of, say, The Planet of the Apes or Spiderman. Oh, wait.
