MobileTracker is running a pretty confident rumor that PalmOne will be teaming up with Audi to promote automatic Bluetooth pairing with the Treo 650 and Audi vehicles, enabling hands-free functionality inside the car. More details should be available soon, but if it’s legit, there’s not a whole lot more you need to know (besides which cars it will work with). Audi’s website lists the following cars as Bluetooth-enabled:
Currently the Audi Phone Preparation with Bluetooth is available in the all-new 2005 A6. It will also be available with the 2005 A8 model, scheduled for release early in 2005.
