Anonymous sources have told Apple Recon that the next Apple special event is slated for February 20. Let the rumors begin! Well, the widescreen iPod iPhone thingie was already announced, so uh, what could be left? Software and desktop updates, of course! Leopard, iWork ’07 and updated Mac Pros are all being speculated.
If you remember, last year Apple had a MacWorld followup event on February 28 that introduced new Mac Minis and the flop Apple HiFi device. My thoughts: software. Of course a 12-inch Macbook or updated updated iPods would be awesome, I think the iPhone covers the portable hardware news for a good six months, at least.
