And now this movie about a man with the magical power to find water — who’s searching for his sons in World War I — is coming to the States in April. The Water Diviner looks like it takes magical realism to some pretty crazy extremes, but also has a lot of heart. We’ve seen a lot of passion projects fall on their faces lately — including the Crowe-starring Winter’s Tale — but this looks just bleak and beautiful enough to be something kinda special.
