Samsung Camera Supports HSDPA and Text Messaging

PMA is still a few weeks away, yet we’re already seeing a slow trickle of cameras make their way into the gadget world. One of the most unique is Samsung’s VLUU i70. This 7-megapixel snapper is one of the first cameras to let you connect to the Internet via a built-in HSDPA transmitter. Thanks to the transmitter, users will be able to download video and music as well as upload photos to their PC remotely from any location. 3x optical zoom, built-in image stabilization, and a 3-inch LCD (used to view videos and read incoming texts). No word on pricing or availability, though we question the need for a camera that’s partially a cell phone.
