We have no idea whether they’re talking about floppy diskettes or CD-Rs or what, but Sanyo is coming out with the MildDisc, a disc made from… corn. Well technically, they’re made from an acid extracted from corn. The upshot is that the discs are biodegradable. The only question on our minds: Will Intel follow Sanyo’s lead and come out with a corn chip? (Somebody please stop us.)
UPDATE: Looks like they’re CD-Rs.
