Saw Writers Crafting A “Recalibration” Of Halloween, Whatever That Means

Everyone settle down, the Saw writers aren’t remaking horror classic Halloween (again). Instead, they are “recalibrating” the series… whatever the hell that means.

THR is reporting that Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (who penned four out of the seven Saw movies) are working on the project, which is going out of its way to announce that the script will not be a reimagining nor will it be a remake, but a “recalibration.” Which we think is PR speak for “you guys all freak out when we use remake or reboot so here’s a new word to confuse everyone. Also it’s like Dirty Dozen with Michael Meyers.”
