So while some universities are starting require the use of gadgets in the classroom, some high schools are trying to figure out how best to deal with students having cellphones and wireless PDAs in the classroom and the possibilites for cheating that their presence creates. Some schools are banning their use in class completely, while others are trying to develop policies that let students use PDAs, but only for class-related functions like taking notes. As phones get smarter and PDAs get cheaper this is only going to become a bigger problem.
