Chances are Betsy Mitchell has edited many of your favorite science fiction and fantasy books — she’s worked with authors including William Gibson, Michael Chabon, Octavia Butler, Terry Brooks, and Marion Zimmer Bradley. For the past ten years, she’s been editor in chief at Del Rey, and before that she worked at Bantam and Warner Aspect. Now, she’s taking early retirement from Del Rey.
