Alas, it’s not the live-action crossover of our dreams (or fan fics, I guess), but the scientific duo best known as FitzSimmons is stopping by this week’s episode of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Here’s a clip!
Spider-Man and Iron Spider (who is actually Hulk’s pal Amadeus Cho, if you haven’t been watching) recruit FitzSimmons’ help to find a mole inside SHIELD Academy, who was tragically not planted by Mole Man, but by Doctor Octopus. Hijinks, as they so often do on this cartoon, ensue.
Okay, it’s still an episode of Ultimate Spider-Man, but actors Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain de Caestecker provide the voices for the characters they play on AoS. Honestly, I was all ready to set my DVR to record it until I heard the Hulk poop joke (which admittedly came at the beginning of the clip).
Huh. You know, Animated Fitz kind of reminds me of somebody…
