Rogen and production partner Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures has announced the acquisition of two single-camera comedies by Fox and ABC. Produced by Brad Copeland (and executive produced by Rogen and Goldberg), the ABC series follows a young couple struggling with married life and the fact that one of them is a member of the illuminati. Meanwhile, the Fox project, from Mike Rosolio (and once again executive produced by Rogen and Goldberg), follows “an ambitious MIT graduate who gets a job working for a Steve Jobs-esque tech genius, only to learn he’s also a vigilante superhero by night, forcing her to become the unwitting Alfred to his Batman.” There’s something almost weirdly refreshing about there actually being a non-comics superhero show on network TV again in this golden age of superhero TV, isn’t there?

The two projects join a litany of other genre-themed shows Rogen and Goldberg are currently lending their names to, including:

A comedy about Ray Kurzweil’s Singularity theory for FX

Hulu’s Future Man, a Last Starfighter-esque scifi show starring Josh Hutchinson

A time-travelling Where’s Waldo movie???

And of course, Preacher, due for a second season on AMC

And presumably another five million things, too. How do they find the time?
