Shania Twain: You’re Still The One

I just survived a long-distance relationship. The girlfriend and I met after two whole years. Having a face-to-face conversation after months of Whatsapping and Skyping feels… unreal, and it’s kind of awesome just to be in the same time zone as each other.

For my Soundtrack pick tonight, I’m going back to the late 90s and choosing Shania Twain’s You’re Still The One. A long-distance relationship is tough and this is one of the songs that has kept me going through a lot of its worst rough patches.

Twain’s voice is perfect, the lyrics are bang on and the chorus is out of this world.

This is our song. [iTunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3]
